
Nature conservation body, Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife, is piloting a smart fence at the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park. It’s hoped it will help reduce rhino poaching and prevent wildlife from escaping. Last year, the province reported the highest number of rhinos poached in the country, totalling 224. Most of them were at the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park.
