One Gauteng school has been commemorating the One Billion Rising event to highlight the plight of women and children since 2013. This year, they gathered on the lawns, standing in the shape of a handprint.
They hope to raise awareness about children’s rights and responsibilities, keeping safe and speaking out against bullies and abuse.
