The National Assembly will debate the EFF’s no-confidence motion against Speaker Thoko Didiza today. The motion was tabled in June over Didiza’s handling of the impeachment process against President Cyril Ramaphosa. The EFF says she failed to protect Parliament by choosing not to oppose Ramaphosa’s application to halt the proceedings.
