Mzamo Cele faced a third day of cross-examination as Matlala’s lawyer, Advocate Anneline van den Heever, challenged his version of events. The defence argued that no 9mm cartridge casings were found at the scene and questioned his account using a police sketch that allegedly showed no Ferrari was present. Cele rejected the claims, calling them false.
