The National Prosecuting Authority’s hopes for a swift victory have vanished after Vusimuzi ‘Cat’ Matlala walked away from a revised plea deal.
NPA spokesperson, Kaizer Kganyago, says they expected a done deal as the only change is the proposed jail time for Matlala.
With the agreement now off the table, the matter is expected to proceed to trial. #eNCA
