On the eve of the Cape Town Netball World Cup, South Africa officially kicked-off Netball Fridays in support of the Proteas. Minister of Sports and Recreation Zizi Kodwa launched what is aimed to be weekly sporting celebrations in the build-up to the tournament in Thembisa on the East Rand of Johannesburg. Hundreds of school kids and South African Sporting Legends, joined in on an action-packed day wishing the Spar Proteas success at the upcoming tournament.
