Inanda residents appeal to government to speed up infrastructure repairs

Residents of Inanda north of Durban are appealing to the government to speed up the process of rebuilding a bridge that was washed away during the floods in April last year, leaving a drop several meters deep.

The bridge connecting the Ntuzuma and Inanda townships was washed away when torrential rains hit KwaZulu-Natal last year.

The Ethekwini municipality says progress has been made in repairing damaged infrastructure.
