
A community project in Ganyesa in the North West province, where an indigenous plant called Devil’s Claw was to be harvested, is moving at a snail’s pace.
The project was established in 2004 when around 15 people were given training on harvesting the plant but they have been unable to gain market access.
The members of project say they still believe that the undertaking will be able to sustain future generations.
