Nationals Leader David Littleproud says Labor’s Jobs and Skills summit might very well turn out to be a “hollow” political stunt but he will not let the opportunity go by to prosecute the case for regional Australia.
“Unless there’s outcomes, and unique outcomes for regional and rural Australia, then it will be hollow, it will be nothing more than that – because we were only an afterthought,” Mr Littleproud told Sky News Australia.
“I want to actually be pragmatic.
“I will be there to make sure I prosecute that case and if they don’t I’ll go swinging with Peter Dutton.”
