The defence attorney representing two of the three men accused of the murder of Hillary Gardee – wants to subpoena police in Mpumalanga to testify about another suspect they arrested recently. Last week, police announced that they had arrested a fourth suspect in the case and that the suspect confessed to the killing of Gardee. Advocate Nqobizitha Mlilo told the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court in Mbombela that the provincial police top brass made a public statement on the suspect’s confession.
