Impact of local vaccine production on SA's economy: Rhulani Nhlaniki

South Africa has thrown its weight behind the decision of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) to waive intellectual property rights on vaccine production.
The government says this bodes well for local COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers. South Africa and India first proposed the measures to the WTO with support of other developing countries during the height of Covid-19.
