There’s mounting concern in South Africa about proposed US legislation that could punish African nations for maintaining close relations with Russia. Pretoria’s Ambassador to Russia has already raised concerns about the challenges South Africa could face. Ambassador Mzuvukile Maqetuka is quoted in an interview with Sputnik News as saying South African embassy workers in Moscow have had their Russian bank accounts closed and bank cards no longer work.
