Diepsloot residents, north of Johannesburg are disgruntled that the Justice Department isn’t deporting foreign nationals found to be in the country illegally.
This is according to Deputy Justice Minister, John Jeffery, who engaged the residents alongside Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Pinky Kekana on Tuesday.
Despite this, the residents say they feel much safer in Diepsloot, following the deployment of the SAPS tactical response unit by the Police Minister Bheki Cele last month.
