
REA Group’s Anne Flaherty says the election has slowed down auction numbers around the country, with next week set to be “very strong”.
“It’ll be interesting to see how many people are out there, going and bidding in auctions after getting their democracy sausage,” Ms Flaherty said.
“We have seen a bit of a dip in the number of people selling, and when we look at next week, it’s really clear a lot of people have just held back an extra week.”
