Melbourne Deputy Lord Mayor Nicholas Reece says Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese has won the election campaign with Prime Minister Scott Morrison unable to “turn perceptions around about him”.
Mr Reece said Mr Morrison has not managed to “put the blowtorch back onto Labor” and make it a choice between Liberal and Labor.
“Scott Morrison, who I do rate as a very good campaigner, I don’t think he has had the best campaign either,” Mr Reece told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“He’s had his own share of train wreck interviews, he’s taken kids out and describing himself as a bulldozer was I don’t think the smartest move either.”
