Workers affiliated to the National Education, Health and Allied Worker Union NEHAWU are on a full-blown strike, fighting for their fired colleagues to be reinstated immediately. They intensified their industrial action this week after 5 Nehawu members were fired last week by UNISA management. The strike follows a 3-week shutdown in retaliation to the initial suspension of the 5 members.
