Eskom will implement stage two rolling blackouts from 5PM until 10PM Wednesday evening. CEO Andre De Ruyter says the power utility has been doing its best to minimise the impact on the system these past few days by implementing rolling blackouts in the evening.
De Ruyter says it should not be the norm that the country experiences power cuts.
He further says that additional capacity is urgently needed to alleviate the pressure on the power system.
