Just under a hundred emergency services personnel and reservists marched to the Union Buildings in Pretoria demanding permanent jobs. They also want government to deal with corruption in the industry. Members allege that contracts of soldiers and other services aren’t renewed due to fraud. EMS workers are calling for the appointment of a Minister of Emergency Services. eNCA’s Heidi Giokos was at the march and filed this report.
