The 2022 South African National Road Championships were staged in Graskop in Mpumalanga in February. Among those who graced that event were president of Cycling South Africa, Ciska Austin and her deputy, Qondisa Ngwenya. Reinardt Janse van Rensburg emerged victorious, walking away with the SA National Road championship title. After that, he participated at the Afro Road Championships, where he finished second behind Henok Mulubrhan from Eritrea. Janse van Rensburg now joins us via ZOOM from France where he is riding with Team Lotto Soudal.
