Disgruntled residents from various wards in the Nyandeni local municipality in the Eastern Cape are expected to hold a march to the municipal offices.
They want sacked mayor Zamekile Nondlevu to be reinstated.
Nondlevu was removed by the Council after he allegedly hired a municipal manager without following proper procedure.
A new mayor has already been appointed to replace Nondlevu.
