US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman's visit to Africa starting with SA: Prof John Stremlau

US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman is expected to arrive in South Africa Monday night for the start of her four-nation tour of Africa and Europe. Apart from South Africa, she will also visit Angola and Gabon, before jetting off to France on May 7. Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Molly Phee and National Security Council Senior Director for Africa Dana Banks will form part of Sherman’s delegation.
