The ANC has shut the door on all party leaders who are facing serious criminal charges.All leaders, from branch level right up to the National Executive Committee, have been barred from contesting positions of power if they are charged.The party’s NEC says the image of the ANC has taken a serious beating over the past few days after the election of murder-accused, Mandla Msibi, and corruption-accused, Zandile Gumede, at regional conferences.
