The distraught family of an eThekwini Municipality employee, who was shot and killed while dispatching water tankers to flood victims on Saturday, say they live in fear.
36-year-old Phumzile Qata was a supervisor at the city’s water and sanitation unit at the Ottawa depot, in the north of Durban.
No arrests have been made.
This as attempts to restore water in areas affected by the floods are now at 60%.
