The United Nations’ World Food Programme says trucks carrying food aid have entered Ethiopia’s war-torn Tigray region for the first time since December. The delivery of aid comes amid rising fears of starvation and deaths in Tigray. The UN has previously estimated that about 350 000 people face famine-like conditions.
