President of the ANC Women’s League, Bathabile Dlamini has been found guilty of perjury in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court. The matter relates to the SASSA grant crisis in 2017, where the former Social Development Minister lied under oath during an inquiry chaired by retired Judge, Bernard Ngoepe. Magistrate Betty Khumalo will sentence Dlamini on the first of April.
