United States President Joe Biden is convinced Russia will invade Ukraine in the coming week.
The administration thinks Russia will target Ukraine’s capital Kyiv, home to 2.8 million people.
After speaking with European leaders and NATO allies, the President warned the threat of Russia invading Ukraine remained very high.
“We have reason to believe the Russian forces are planning to and intend to attack Ukraine in the coming week, in the coming days,” Mr Biden said.
US Officials estimate that as much as 190,000 Russian troops are gathered at the Ukrainian border.
