With Zimbabwe’s by-elections a few weeks away – electioneering season has kicked off in earnest.
The polls are to fill vacant positions in local government and the national assembly – some roles which have been vacant since the pandemic started in 2020.
The ruling party, ZANU-PF, held a rally in Epworth – south of Harare. It says they are optimistic about the upcoming polls. Ephert Musekiwa and Noma Bolani compiled this report.
