Princess Vlei Wetland Park turned into a sea of black and purple today – as scores of men, women and children took part in a solidarity walk against Gender Based Violence and Femicide.
Organisers say Heritage Day was intentionally chosen – to emphasise that there’s nothing to celebrate while women across South Africa continue to be killed.
