ANC Chief Whip Mdumiseni Ntuli is set to lay charges against DA MP Mark Burke and the company he founded, Kastelo. Allegations involving the movement of R4-billion by Kastelo are currently under investigation by the Reserve Bank. The Johannesburg High Court has dismissed an application by the company to have its bank accounts unfrozen.
In court papers, the Reserve Bank alleges there are grounds to believe that Kastelo may have used clients’ allowances to move funds offshore for its own benefit. eNCA’s Ayesha Ismail is following this story. #dstv403
