Political parties are accusing the President of trying to derail or frustrate the impeachment committee. Cyril Ramaphosa has objected to Thandazani Madonsela’s appointment as evidence leader. The EFF, ActionSA and ATM say the President will not be allowed to choose his own judge. They argue the committee has the authority to appoint Madonsela and must be allowed to continue its work.
