Sacred Heart College’s school jazz band, is set to perform at the Standard Bank Jazz for Young People (J4YP) Festival. Amid scattered instruments, the young musicians take their places behind a keyboard, electric guitar and drums, while the vocalist steps up to the microphone. Together, they work through a repertoire that blends soul, pop and jazz into a sound uniquely their own ahead of the full-day event at the National School of the Arts on Saturday, 25 July.
