The National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson, Kaizer Kganyago, says it is using its Asset Forfeiture Unit to dismantle corruption syndicates and prevent those accused of corruption from using illicit proceeds to fight the State.
The NPA has secured a final forfeiture order allowing it to permanently seize R326 million in assets from businessman Hangwani Maumela.
Maumela is linked to rogue activity at Tembisa Hospital. Kganyago says the order should serve as a warning to anyone involved in illicit dealings. #eNCA
