The Specialised Commercial Crimes Court has rejected a proposed plea bargain, sending Vusimuzi ‘Cat’ Matlala’s legal team and IDAC prosecutors back to the drawing board. Now, Matlala must decide whether to accept a longer sentence after the magistrate found the original plea deal unjust.
