Deputy Defence Minister Bantu Holomisa has reassured residents following the announcement that members of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) will be deployed to parts of the Western Cape.
Speaking to EWN, Holomisa emphasised that the deployment is aimed at supporting police in stabilising crime-affected areas, not replacing civilian law enforcement.
