Julius Malema, EFF leader, has welcomed the announcement of the deployment of the army to Gauteng and Western Cape to fight zama zama’s (illegal miners). However Malema said this shows the lack of faith in police. His remarks come in the wake of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s State of the Nation Address.
