The City of Johannesburg has officially reopened Lilian Ngoyi Street in the CBD on Friday morning, over a week after missing its initial 1 September deadline. While the city had promised to complete repairs by the start of the month, the announcement of completion only came on the due date, with the actual reopening delayed until now.
