KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi will be the first witness to testify before the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into his claims of interference in the criminal justice system. Commission spokesperson Jeremy Michaels confirmed during a briefing in Pretoria on Monday afternoon that consultations with Mkhwanazi are underway this week and will continue into next week.
