A slain Western Cape police officer has been hailed for serving his community with integrity and pride. 44-year-old Sergeant Aidon Mahoney was shot dead last week in Mamre when he and his partner responded to a domestic violence call. During his memorial service held in Atlantis, provincial police commissioner Thembisile Patekile called for his men to defend themselves when attacked. eNCA’s Nobesuthu Hejana reports.
