The death toll from torrential storms that struck KwaZulu-Natal has left at least seven people dead. The trail of destruction destroyed 70 homes and left over150 people homeless. Disaster management teams are still on the ground to check if there are more casualties. Meanwhile, communities are now trying to salvage what’s left and rebuild from the ruins.
