Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni denied claims that South Africa breached security protocols when President Cyril Ramaphosa’s security detail and invited journalists were grounded in Poland during the African peace mission to Russia and Ukraine. She also encouraged South Africans to place their focus on the positive impact the peace mission made despite the ‘diplomatic incident’.
