SAMWU-affiliated Vhembe Municipality workers embark on go-slow

Hundreds of workers affiliated to SAMWU at the Vhembe district municipality in Limpopo are on a go-slow, demanding salary adjustments backdated to 2017. They say the municipality sidelined them when it adjusted the salaries of managers by 5,6%. The municipality says it will need about 40-million-rand to adjust the salaries of the affected employees and it does not have the budget.
