The Barberton Hospital in Mpumalanga is one of the hospitals that has been shut down by Nehawu as the strike continues. The hospital workers blockaded the entrance to the hospital with burning tyres, rocks and bricks. Nurses not affiliated with Nehawu have been chased from wards leaving patients unattended.
