Businesses have shut down in Ladysmith in northern KwaZulu-Natal as result of flooding, following 3 weeks of heavy rains. Local authorities say teams have been dispatched to assess the full extent of the damage. Some residents, who live near the affected areas, have been forced to stay indoors.
