Consumer inflation fell for a third consecutive month in January. Stats SA data shows that the annual consumer price inflation came in at 6,9% in January, down from 7,2% in December. The main contributors to the annual inflation rate were food and non-alcoholic beverages; housing and utilities; as well as transport.
