Sky News Australia host James Morrow says the rhetoric that voting for the Republicans was a threat to democracy is “laughable”.
“If you’re calling the other side fascist and saying you’re a fascist if you don’t vote for the ruling party, i.e. the Democrats, I mean what exactly is the messenger trying to send here,” Mr Morrow told Sky News Australia.
“Most people rejected that out of hand, but I also think most people thought that the Democrats did not do a really good job in connecting with real kitchen table issues that people were worried about.”
