Former Greens advisor Ben Oquist says the government has “one big challenge” at the moment, which is the cost of living crisis.
He said the government has been hit by a “different economic reality”.
“And that’s what the budget was about and it didn’t do a lot more than was expected, it was no surprises, but it really did reset the economic debate in this country,” he told Sky News Australia.
