Sandton Tourism Association says the United States terror threat alert must be taken seriously. The Association also criticised the South African government for downplaying the threat. On Thursday, the US Embassy issued an alert on a ‘possible terrorist attack’ in Sandton. The UK government also issued a similar alert to its citizens.
