Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has lashed out against Angus Taylor during Question Time, saying he has “no credibility” amid questions about energy prices.
“Indeed, when confronted with the fact that winning government, there was a warning of a pending spike in energy prices, and that the announcement was delayed until after the election,” Mr Albanese said.
The Prime Minister claimed Shadow Treasurer Angus Taylor knew about the “increase in the default retail price, which is fed into energy prices increasing by 20 per cent” in March – prior to the election.
“You have no credibility,” Mr Albanese said.
