Infrastructure Minister Catherine King says there is “plenty of money going into the regions” for infrastructure.
She said there is $1.8 billion going towards various highways and “760 initiatives for regional Australia” in the federal budget.
“There are significant infrastructure investments we are making in the regions from our election commitments,” she said.
