
The American musician formerly known as Kanye West has lost his billionaire status after German sports brand Adidas terminated its lucrative partnership with him over his offensive and anti-semitic rhetoric that earlier saw social media platforms Twitter and Instagram suspend his accounts. In a statement, Adidas said it does not tolerate antisemitism or any other sort of hate and put its Yeezy brand collection with West under review after he wore a "White Lives Matter" T-shirt at Paris Fashion Week in late September. Among the many offensive statements made by West, he took to Twitter on October 9 saying he was going to go "death con 3 on Jewish people".
